Keep a destination, or keep what you learned?
A founder may keep product tools, documentation and community sites open throughout the week. Organizing these destinations reduces the effort of returning to them. Arc’s Spaces and Profiles address that kind of browsing organization.
A research deliverable is different: it could be the product brief you reviewed on Monday and the page capture that supports it. In dodu, PINs remain shortcuts to websites, while SPACE contains saved files. The workflow connects those two jobs: return to a pinned source, ask about it, keep the result and preview the file later. Evaluate both the comfort of everyday tab organization and the usefulness of that saved output.
A browsing space and a file space solve different problems.
dodu focuses on a short loop: shake to wake AI, select the content, ask a focused question, save a useful answer or capture to SPACE, then return to browsing. Workspace brings DODU conversations and SPACE files together.
Arc Spaces and dodu SPACE are different concepts. dodu SPACE stores files and saved output; it is not a name for a group of browser tabs.
How to evaluate dodu for your own work
- Open a source page you actually use and ask a specific question about it.
- Check that the answer uses the intended context and separates facts from gaps.
- Save a useful answer as a PDF and capture the source page if needed.
- Reopen the file in SPACE and decide whether the workflow reduces your effort.
Our demo shows this with a real Product Hunt listing and saved files. It is an edited replay, not a live benchmark or a test of the other browser.
Availability and comparison notes
dodu currently has a public beta waitlist and a demonstrated macOS app. Do not assume that all announced features or platforms are available to every user. Compare privacy practices, access requirements and current pricing before switching.
